The art of surfing is difficult to master and the process along the way can be frustrating. Unlike conventional surf lessons, I will give you the tools to help you continue making progress even after you leave.<\/p>\nMy approach consists of three key elements to take your surfing to the next level while having tons of fun.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\nYour goals:<\/h2>\nBefore the retreat, I will ask you to complete a questionnaire, so that we can assess your level, identify points to work on and clarify your expectations. If you\u2019d like, I can also send you some exercise videos that will prepare your body for our time together, especially if you haven\u2019t recently been surfing.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_single_image image=”2440″ img_size=”full”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_single_image image=”2550″ img_size=”full”][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\nSurf sessions:<\/h2>\nTypically I do two surf sessions a day at surf spots suited for your level. I will explain to you how the waves in the area work and I will paddle out with you to boost your confidence and help you deal with other surfers.<\/p>\nVideo analysis is the key factor for improving movement and control. With slow motion we can resolve every single paddle stroke, hand position or hip rotation. That will allow us to understand why certain things happened or not. \u00a0Bring a USB drive with you, because afterwards, you can take the recordings home for free.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\nWorkshops:<\/h2>\nDry Land Movement:<\/strong><\/p>\nPracticing\u00a0 first turns and maneuvers on the water can be overwhelming. An efficient way to make progress in your surfing requires a good surf technique.\u00a0 My dryland simulations are your solution to master repetitive movements. I\u00a0 will work with you on land, so you have no distractions, and simulate maneuvers with you. Repeating these will make them far easier to execute while in the water, as well as build confidence. Dryland simulations are key to making faster progress.<\/p>\nTheory Lessons:<\/strong><\/p>\nMany elements are easier to explain with a TV screen and a whiteboard, rather than on the beach. I will explain to you how the waves in the area work and I will paddle out with you to boost your confidence and help you deal with other surfers.<\/p>\nVideo analysis is the key factor for improving movement and control. With slow motion we can resolve every single paddle stroke, hand position or hip rotation. That will allow us to understand why certain things happened or not. \u00a0Bring a USB drive with you, because afterwards, you can take the recordings home for free.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\nWorkshops:<\/h2>\nDry Land Movement:<\/strong><\/p>\nPracticing\u00a0 first turns and maneuvers on the water can be overwhelming. An efficient way to make progress in your surfing requires a good surf technique.\u00a0 My dryland simulations are your solution to master repetitive movements. I\u00a0 will work with you on land, so you have no distractions, and simulate maneuvers with you. Repeating these will make them far easier to execute while in the water, as well as build confidence. Dryland simulations are key to making faster progress.<\/p>\nTheory Lessons:<\/strong><\/p>\nMany elements are easier to explain with a TV screen and a whiteboard, rather than on the beach. The art of surfing is difficult to master and the process along the way can be frustrating. I will explain to you how the waves in the area work and I will paddle out with you to boost your confidence and help you deal with other surfers.<\/p>\nVideo analysis is the key factor for improving movement and control. With slow motion we can resolve every single paddle stroke, hand position or hip rotation. That will allow us to understand why certain things happened or not. \u00a0Bring a USB drive with you, because afterwards, you can take the recordings home for free.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\nWorkshops:<\/h2>\nDry Land Movement:<\/strong><\/p>\nPracticing\u00a0 first turns and maneuvers on the water can be overwhelming. An efficient way to make progress in your surfing requires a good surf technique.\u00a0 My dryland simulations are your solution to master repetitive movements. I\u00a0 will work with you on land, so you have no distractions, and simulate maneuvers with you. Repeating these will make them far easier to execute while in the water, as well as build confidence. Dryland simulations are key to making faster progress.<\/p>\nTheory Lessons:<\/strong><\/p>\nMany elements are easier to explain with a TV screen and a whiteboard, rather than on the beach. I will explain to you how the waves in the area work and I will paddle out with you to boost your confidence and help you deal with other surfers.<\/p>\nVideo analysis is the key factor for improving movement and control. With slow motion we can resolve every single paddle stroke, hand position or hip rotation. That will allow us to understand why certain things happened or not. \u00a0Bring a USB drive with you, because afterwards, you can take the recordings home for free.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\nWorkshops:<\/h2>\nDry Land Movement:<\/strong><\/p>\nPracticing\u00a0 first turns and maneuvers on the water can be overwhelming. An efficient way to make progress in your surfing requires a good surf technique.\u00a0 My dryland simulations are your solution to master repetitive movements. I\u00a0 will work with you on land, so you have no distractions, and simulate maneuvers with you. Repeating these will make them far easier to execute while in the water, as well as build confidence. Dryland simulations are key to making faster progress.<\/p>\nTheory Lessons:<\/strong><\/p>\nMany elements are easier to explain with a TV screen and a whiteboard, rather than on the beach. With slow motion we can resolve every single paddle stroke, hand position or hip rotation. That will allow us to understand why certain things happened or not. \u00a0Bring a USB drive with you, because afterwards, you can take the recordings home for free.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\nWorkshops:<\/h2>\nDry Land Movement:<\/strong><\/p>\nPracticing\u00a0 first turns and maneuvers on the water can be overwhelming. An efficient way to make progress in your surfing requires a good surf technique.\u00a0 My dryland simulations are your solution to master repetitive movements. I\u00a0 will work with you on land, so you have no distractions, and simulate maneuvers with you. Repeating these will make them far easier to execute while in the water, as well as build confidence. Dryland simulations are key to making faster progress.<\/p>\nTheory Lessons:<\/strong><\/p>\nMany elements are easier to explain with a TV screen and a whiteboard, rather than on the beach. Typically I do two surf sessions a day at surf spots suited for your level. I will explain to you how the waves in the area work and I will paddle out with you to boost your confidence and help you deal with other surfers.<\/p>\n
Video analysis is the key factor for improving movement and control. With slow motion we can resolve every single paddle stroke, hand position or hip rotation. That will allow us to understand why certain things happened or not. \u00a0Bring a USB drive with you, because afterwards, you can take the recordings home for free.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n
Dry Land Movement:<\/strong><\/p>\nPracticing\u00a0 first turns and maneuvers on the water can be overwhelming. An efficient way to make progress in your surfing requires a good surf technique.\u00a0 My dryland simulations are your solution to master repetitive movements. I\u00a0 will work with you on land, so you have no distractions, and simulate maneuvers with you. Repeating these will make them far easier to execute while in the water, as well as build confidence. Dryland simulations are key to making faster progress.<\/p>\nTheory Lessons:<\/strong><\/p>\nMany elements are easier to explain with a TV screen and a whiteboard, rather than on the beach. Practicing\u00a0 first turns and maneuvers on the water can be overwhelming. An efficient way to make progress in your surfing requires a good surf technique.\u00a0 My dryland simulations are your solution to master repetitive movements. I\u00a0 will work with you on land, so you have no distractions, and simulate maneuvers with you. Repeating these will make them far easier to execute while in the water, as well as build confidence. Many elements are easier to explain with a TV screen and a whiteboard, rather than on the beach. Several times a week there are theory lessons about the essential aspects of surfing: swell and surf forecast, security and water safety, surf etiquette, competition in the wsl, etc\u2026<\/p>\n
